Digital Storytelling (ages 7+/virtual class)
Digital Storytelling (ages 7+/virtual class)
Digital Storytelling (ages 7 and up):
Have you ever wanted to be the star of your own movie? Look no further! In this class, you will meet (virtually) kids from all over and collaborate on a short movie to show your parents and friends. Once a week, class will meet over Zoom for an hour to create a story, build a script, practice acting techniques, and learn the basics of shot compositions so that we can make our own movie. Then, each student will get a weekly film assignment that corresponds with their role within the script. Throughout the week, the kids will film the footage assigned to them, and upload it to a class folder. The teacher will then edit it together into a short film that will have it’s world premier on the UWA website. A digital copy will be sent to you to keep forever.
