Urban Wildlife Arts is an after-school performing arts program for children of all ages (located in NYC). We create original live dance and theatre pieces, as well as film and animation projects using our imagination, creativity and love of animals.
We are a Fiscally Sponsored 501(c)(3) Fractured Atlas Project, which means that all of your donations to Urban Wildlife Arts are tax deductible, and go entirely to our work!

Urban Wildlife Arts nurtures self-expression through shared art, and helps build strong, meaningful friendships while encouraging individual artistic development. Along with performance techniques, our young artists learn how to overcome shyness and fear of public speaking; to understand and empathize with others; and to engage in active, imaginative play.

Animals are people too, and we love to tell their stories. Our classes allow kids to learn about animals, to understand and embody the stories of others, and to create original work that they can be proud of. Whether it be about a friendship between a fox and a horse, the lives of elephants, or a fairytale about a prince and his cats, UWA helps foster empathy and artistic expression through our love and kinship with animals.
