Dance. Drama. FILM. Animation.
Urban Wildlife Arts is an after-school performing arts program for children of all ages (located in NYC). We create original live dance and theatre pieces, as well as films and animations using our imagination, creativity and love of animals.
BuILDING confidence through creativity
Telling stories is a valuable part of learning, sharing, and passing history on to others. UWA uses shared art to help build strong, meaningful friendships while also encouraging individual artistic expression. Along with performance and storytelling techniques, our young artists learn how to overcome shyness and fear of public speaking; to understand and empathize with others; and to engage in active, imaginative play.
we love animals!
Animals are people too, and we love to tell their stories. Our classes allow kids to learn about animals, to understand and embody the stories of others, and to create original work that they can be proud of. Whether it be about a friendship between a fox and a horse, the lives of elephants, or a fairytale about a prince and his cats, UWA helps foster empathy and artistic expression through our love and kinship with animals.
